"How I Helped Nature" by Jaqueline
I like to climb trees, one sunny day, I climbed a tree and I heard some day people are going to chop
it down and it was my favorite tree!!! So when the people were going to chop it down, that's when I came in. "Don't chop it down!" I screamed.
The people asked me why and I said:"All sorts of people love this tree! Not only them…me too…" I started to cry.
They felt bad for me. So then my neighbors came out and they asked why was all the racket, I spoke
to them of the tree and they said don't chop it down so they didn't…I of course stopped
crying and felt really happy for the whole day and always climbed that tree. I thought of
how I saved nature. I felt great and started climbing more.

"Redtailed Hawk" by Rachel
One day I went on a field trip with my class. We went to a farm where we saw a redtailed hawk. We asked a guy who worked there why the hawk was there. He said that the hawk was there because when it was flying, trying to catch something to eat, a car ran over it's left wing and now it can't fly. I felt so bad for it. I wanted to pet it, but it is wild and I don't want to get hurt. I still like it, and it's still alive.

"A Short Story of How I Found My Cat" by Kohsheen
One day I got up from bed and heard a weird noise.I headed towards it and I realized that what I was hearing was a meow. I went outside and found a baby kitten about 2 or 3 weeks old. And I soon found out that it’s mother was killed . Slowly, day by day it started to come closer to me. One day it came so close and I quickly caught it. I begged my dad if I could keep her and he finally gave in. The next morning we went and bought food and supplies for it. Now my kitten is less than a year old and is living happily in our house.
